I Love What I Do!
I didn't grow up thinking I would become a massage therapist. Yet, it turned out to be my gift from God and all I really know how to do.
I am ridiculously proud to be "originally from Denver, Colorado." I graduated Metropolitan State University - Denver with a BS in International Marketing. My best years in Colorado were 1985, '86 & '87 while living in Vail, skiing hard and fast with a group of really great friends.
I love to travel almost more than anything else in life. I did the two-month Eurail experience around Europe in 1985. Then I spent a year and a half in 1987-88, traveling around the world to Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, as well as a few of the South Pacific Islands. In 1990-91, I spent just over a year in Japan teaching English. I have since returned to Europe many times. My "favorite country" is the one in which my feet are planted.
I moved to South Carolina for some ungodly reason. Yet, as a result, I have two beautiful daughters who are now grown and living their own special lives. Independent like their mama, I am incredibly proud of both and admire their achievements.
With a background in marketing and event planning, I began my massage career in 2001. It gives me great pleasure to have been awarded Best Massage Therapist several times with both Herald-Tribune's Readers' Choice Award and SRQ Magazine's ~ Best Of Local. With pride and opinionated integrity, my awards are based on votes from my clients, not a social media marketing campaign. After all these years...I still love what I do, and trust you will, too!
My next Great Adventure is pivoting from a treatment room all day to leading couples massage retreats and immersions.
My Mission Statement ~ To travel the world with My Love, to see my children, friends, and family, facilitating retreats and immersions to couples who wish to love, connect, and grow through touch.

Diane Lane became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2001 and immediately began her own practice, Diane Lane Massage & Bodywork. After starting her family and launching her career in South Carolina, the idea of being where the sun shines all year long, like her hometown of Denver, Colorado, is what brought her to Sarasota.
With nearly 25 years of experience in a very successful business, Diane is now slightly pivoting to a new and exciting angle of massage arts: couples retreats. As a world traveler and a hopeless romantic, she wants to teach couples how to massage each other in some of the most exotic places in the world.
"The retreats allow couples an opportunity to 'love, connect, and grow through touch,' in an incredibly romantic location and exquisite accommodations," said Diane. "I always say, 'Healing happens when you're horizontal.' If people are going to be in a relationship, I want them to know how to express their love through touch."
During these retreats, Diane's intentions are to provide the couple with the opportunity to spend quality time with one another and tap into romance and passion. Couples can expect to put their phones away for a few days during an unbelievable vacation and unlock a new level of intimacy through the flow of massage and romantic settings.
