Release and Expand Through Simple Movement
This workshop is about learning how to use your body fully, properly, and to its greatest potential through simple movement. The benefits of this workshop is learning how to use y/our body fully and to its greatest potential through simple movement; movements you've done all your life, but now need to be re-learned, consciously, in order for your safety. Participants will learn how to safely get up ~ without tumbling over, and sit down ~ with control. Walking consciously, using full-body movements, will improve your gait and overall body structure. We will also learn how to work out the trouble spots, such as bothersome shoulders and hips, with a number of easy range of motion actions.
For persons experiencing Parkinson's Disease, these workshops are a blessing.
As well, I have a two-year certification in the WholeBody Movement modality of massage/bodywork. You are able to lie on my massage table with your clothes on while I gently move your body in way which is designed to interrupt the neurological system in order to get your body to relax and release. These gentle, invitational movements facilitate profound relaxation while releasing deep-seated, restrictive body-mind patterns.
